Carrington Equipment delivers this month a new Hyundai 780-9 Wheel Loader to Yarwun Quarries at Gladstone Qld. Daniel who now operates the 780-9 reckons the Hyundai has more power and is more stable than the previous loader he was operating and also very impressed with the ease of operation and control. The quarry is a bluestone quarry and is owned and operated by Brian Scott. They have a lot of Caterpillar gear but decided to try the Hyundai as it was markedly less expensive than other makes that he had considered. He was very impressed with the whole sales process from initial enquiry through to the handover on Thursday. Says he will be buying more products in the fututre from Carrington Equipment.
They quickly raised the turnover during the 2007/ 2008 financial year to exceed over $5 million and it is projected that the 2008/2009 financial year will exceed $7 million. The company is focused on “being diversified” This focus had enabled ELC to achieve contracts that are more focused on “Environmental Aspects and Achievements” than being just another specialised land clearing organisation.ELC have also committed to the reduction of green house gases by “Ensuring that equipment is at the highest possible emission standards available”. ELC have built a business on reliability and personal service Therefore they appreciate the relationship that has been established with the crew at Carrington Equipment who in ELC words have always gone beyond the measured mile to assist in any area ELC have required including their rental fleet. After buying my fourth Hyundai excavator and a Posi track RC100 from Carrington Equipment, I obviously had no reservation in continuing our relationship. ELC will continue to work closely with Carrington Equipment and Hyundai and are proud to be the first owner of the new Hyundai R290LC-9 excavator in Australia.

Both Phil and Greg had no hesitation in selecting another Hyundai to their current fleet that currently are a Hyundai R55-7 and R170W-7 as both these units have excedded all there expectations and in particular have been very satisfied with the after sales support given by the Carrington Equipment Group and staff at Hexham.
