They quickly raised the turnover during the 2007/ 2008 financial year to exceed over $5 million and it is projected that the 2008/2009 financial year will exceed $7 million. The company is focused on “being diversified” This focus had enabled ELC to achieve contracts that are more focused on “Environmental Aspects and Achievements” than being just another specialised land clearing organisation.ELC have also committed to the reduction of green house gases by “Ensuring that equipment is at the highest possible emission standards available”. ELC have built a business on reliability and personal service Therefore they appreciate the relationship that has been established with the crew at Carrington Equipment who in ELC words have always gone beyond the measured mile to assist in any area ELC have required including their rental fleet. After buying my fourth Hyundai excavator and a Posi track RC100 from Carrington Equipment, I obviously had no reservation in continuing our relationship. ELC will continue to work closely with Carrington Equipment and Hyundai and are proud to be the first owner of the new Hyundai R290LC-9 excavator in Australia.

Hyundai Construction Equipment Australia is pleased to present the new R35Z-7, a “zero tail-swing” compact excavator in the 3.5 t class. The new mini-excavator will be presented for the first time at Bauma 2007 in Munich.

Due to its extremely compact design, the R35Z-7 provides the ability to cope with spaces too narrow for normal construction machines and still be able to work effectively in the most confined spaces and still provide a surprisingly spacious work environment for the operator.

This excavator weighs exactly 3.65t with its 0.11 m³ standard bucket, and has an engine power of 20.5 kW (29 PS). The Yanmar engine gives the R35Z-7 a maximum bucket digging force of 31.4kN and a traction force of 35.8kN. The off-set boom makes working in the most confined spaces possible, both directly in front of the machine as well as parallel along walls or hedges. At the same time, the excavator achieves an impressive digging depth of 3.15m and a dumping height of 3.46m which means even high-sided trucks can be easily loaded.

The modern three stage hydraulic pump allows three different work movements to be performed independently. The R35Z-7 can slew at up to 9.5 revolutions per minute, and the operator can select two travel speeds for precise or fast moving as required. With grade ability of 30 degrees, high mobility in difficult terrain is also ensured.

Hyundai believes that the R35Z-7, with its high levels of technology, comfort and power, as well as its in-built quality, will ensure a high return on investment to the end user.
